Found a Pet? Here’s What to Do
Quick Steps
Tap the PetfinderLB tag
Hold your NFC-enabled smartphone near the Little Buddy tag (or scan the QR code) to open the secure profile page.
Check the owner details
Look for the pet’s name, the owner’s phone number, and any notes or instructions provided.
Contact the owner
Tap the phone number to call and arrange a safe meetup or pickup point. Optionally share your contact via the profile.
Keep the pet safe
Place the animal in a secure, shaded area with water if needed and avoid leaving them in unsafe locations.
If needed: shelter help
If you can’t reach the owner, consider taking the pet to a local shelter or contact local animal services for temporary care.
